Modern, genuine gut strings. Passione strings are fantastically rich and complex in tone colors. They are low in tension and pliable under the fingers. And, thanks to modern manufacturing techniques, they are also extremely stable. The sound and feel of real gut, without all the problems.

Passione strings are wonderful for bringing out the warmth and richness of edgy or nasal sounding instruments. They have greater surface noise than synthetic strings, which is attractive to some players, but not to everyone. And, they are quite low in tension, which some players like and others do not. This is one of our very favorite string sets for both students and professionals.
