Manufacturer's Description

The Amber string set has been developed with the aim of achieving the sound quality of the best gut strings without any tuning instabilities. The set features W-Core®, a completely new core material developed by our Research & Development team.

The sound is rich and warm, but still has texture. The strings also feature a distinctive high quality silking design.

The Amber E string is based on our newest unique invention (Patent Pending PP 50023-2013). Our solution increases the longitudinal elasticity of the string, which results in a significant sound improvement and no whistling.

Warchal strings

I love these strings. Thank you for the quick turn around on the shipping. If I had one complaint (and that is too strong a word) is that a single pkg of strings was shipped in a box that would hold at least 30 pks of strings. A simple padded envelope would have been sufficient.

Great experience 5/5 would shop with JSFV again

Bought the strings, the G string significantly lacks warmth, but the entire experience with J.S. Fisher was the greatest online experience which made me a loyal fan. Would highly recommend shopping with them. 5/5

For 1950's or earlier instruments awesome.

My '49 european instrument is very happy with these strings. I have tried the amber ones, but their silver/aluminium d doesn't like my corrosive fingers. These are much better for my instrument, with great overtones, reasonable projection, and very easy and supple under the fingers.
On a more modern instrument the low tension may cause increased potential of E whistle, but you can overcome that with good technique.
Give it a week or two to settle.
