A beautiful, precision, pyramid-style, wooden metronome from Wittner. Solid, genuine walnut wood exterior (not veneer or laminate). An extraordinarily handsome and reliable machine. A gorgeous addition to any music studio.

Q. What is the difference between the Genuine Walnut model 804M and the standard Walnut model 803M?
A. This Genuine Walnut model is made from the wood of a Walnut tree. The standard Walnut model 803M is made from solid Alder or Poplar wood and given a Walnut stain. Both are solid wood, not laminate.

Q. I can't find the key to wind my metronome.
A. The key is stored on the bottom of the metronome for safety in shipping. Simply pull it from the storage slot and install. Replacement keys and pendulum weights are available to order.

Q. How do I wind my metronome?
A. Locate the key on the bottom of the metronome. Place in the hole on the side of the metronome and turn clockwise to thread it onto the metal shaft. When installing for the first time, you may find that you need to wiggle the key a bit, or adjust the angle, in order to get the key properly situated and onto the threaded shaft. Once the key is installed, simply turn clockwise until the metronome is fully wound

Q. How do I adjust the tempo on my metronome?
A. A small weight is attached to the pendulum (located at the very bottom of the pendulum when initially shipped). Simply adjust its position, up or down, to the desired speed.

Q. Can I leave the metronome wound, or do I need to let it unwind completely each time?
A. When putting the metronome into storage, Wittner recommends allowing the spring to completely unwind. However, the spring is designed to hold tension for long periods of time without ill effect. Under normal circumstances, with occasional use, the metronome may be left wound, or partially wound between practice sessions.

Wittner Metronome order August 15, 2019
Reviewer: Doug Littlejohn from Marshall, IL United States
Absolutely flawless transaction.  I mistakenly ordered the wrong item, and sent an email requesting to cancel or change the order.  JS Fisher IMMEDIATELY cancelled the order, and then the owner called me to ask if I had any questions, and to tell me about the differences in metronomes he carried.  After ordering the correct Wittner, (online and after store hours) I received notice the next morning that my purchase was packed and shipped.  Arrived in two days.  Could not ask for better service.  This is the type of business that is becoming increasingly rare:  One that places the needs of its customers first.  I'm confident J.S. Fisher  will earn your return patronage.  It certainly has mine.

Great Product September 9, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from The Woodlands, TX United States
Though a bit on the pricey side, my new Wittner metronome is a very high quality product. I wanted solid wood, not some cheap plastic knock-off. I use an iphone metronome app as well when it is more convenient, but I prefer the click of a mechanical device. It looks cool, has a classic appearance, and keeps going very long when cranked. Highly recommended.
